PETE TOWNSHEND a legend of Pop Music of the sixties with over 100 million sale of records behind him, he gave recently a press conference to present  his new novel-“The age of anxiety “ organise by the Foreign Press Association for its members.

In promoting his book the publishers stated:

“The novel captures the craziness of the music business and displays Pete Townshend’s sly sense of humour and sharp ear for dialogue.

“First conceived as an opera, The Age of Anxiety deals with mythic and operatic themes including a maze, divine madness and long-lost children. Hallucinations and soundscapes haunt this novel, which on one level is an extended meditation on manic genius and the dark art of creativity.”

Pete Townsend was the lead guitarist and  principal song writer and founder of the WHO, one of the most influential rock bands of the 20th century, selling over 100 million records worldwide. On his final remarks among others he read a poem on the back page of his novel:

“You must learn to wait.

The moment with will-come.
Waiting for the black art creativity,
not inspiration.
Be ready. Be alert. Always.
And then when the moment comes,
you will enjoy waiting, and you will have nothing else to do, nothing better to do than to fall in love
all over again.”
         HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
